Space always has something or the other to be learned and seen. However, the exploration of space always faces many major problems. For example, the closest star as far as we know is at a distance of about 40208 billion kilometers from us. On the other hand, Elon Musk has an ultimate major goal of colonizing Mars.
The colonization would obviously take more than a duration of five months of space travel to eventually get to know everything about the process. However, with the new invention made by NASA in coordination with Elon Musk, the news is released telling that the Near Light Speed Engine even broke the Laws of Physics.
What is Elon Musk’s audacious plan?
Most of us know that Elon Musk has been planning for the successful colonization of Mars and he wants to settle millions of people on Mars. On the other hand, it is easily understandable how skeptics would assume that governments have been responsible for space exploration.
Since space exploration includes a lot of complexities and is involved huge expenses, it is difficult to find someone as focused and visionary as Elon Musk who is willing to make the impossible things possible. Elon musk is always ready to put together everything that is needed to achieve his ultimate goal of colonizing Mars.
What problems might Elon Musk face with respect to space travel to Mars?
The major problem for Elon Musk here is to find a transportation vehicle that not only carries materials and cargo to the red planet but it should also be able to carry humans to Mars. This would not have been a problem if the transportation is to be done to other planets.

However, since the transportation has to be done from Earth to Mars and the minimum distance between the two planets is expected to be about 34 million miles, the transportation might be a little more difficult than expected.
How did NASA and Elon musk’s SpaceX collaborate?
Elon musk having the dream to send humans to Mars always worked on it by building a starship that can send humans from earth to Mars. On the other hand, NASA also invested in the starship construction since it has a plan to use the starship as a lander when NASA’s astronauts need to return to the moon.
Reports say that NASA will pay about $3 billion to space X for The construction of a vehicle to make space travel faster. So this ultimately proved the collaboration of NASA and SpaceX to work on a solution of using the speed light engine that makes space travel faster.
What is the New Light Speed Engine?
NASA in collaboration with SpaceX decided to launch a new transportation vehicle that travels as fast as the speed of light. The transportation vehicle was named ‘Speed Light Engine’. However, in addition to being the fastest vehicle, the newly launched engine doesn’t use even a drop of fuel. This is one of the major advantages of the Speed Light Engine as it would reduce the launch cost by millions as fuel is one of the most expensive things for a space launch.
The Speed Light Engine works on converting centrifugal force to energy and ultimately travels with the help of the obtained energy. The new engine is also known as a helical engine as it is very fast respect traveling about 300 million meters per second.
The newly launched Speed Light Engine by NASA in collaboration with SpaceX attracted most space travelers. The main reason behind this is the traveling speed of the engine that makes the space travel a matter of a few minutes to hours. The Moon is present at a distance of about 240000 miles. So, according to a calculation made by Elon Musk, the Speed Light Engine would take just 1.3 seconds to reach the Moon.
On the other hand, the travel from Earth to Mars would take just a time span of about 12.5 minutes, taking into consideration the long distance between the two planets. One can also travel to Neptune, the farthest planet which is present at a distance of 2.7 billion miles, in just a matter of a few hours.
