Long March-5B Y4, China accomplished the new Engine test

China completes final tests on high-thrust hydrogen-oxygen engines that can power the Long March-5B Y4 service rocket to transfer the Mengtian space laboratory module into orbit, Global Times found launching insiders Tuesday.

Researchers and engineers at the 101 Research Institute, the sixth Academy of state-owned aerospace contractor China Aerospace Science and Technology Corp (CASC), held a 100-second inspection of a high-performance liquid-propellant engine on Monday. The results confirmed that the ship’s efficiency met the equipment requirements, the agency told the Global Times on Tuesday.

The engine will be delivered to a standard rocket assembly, after which the Long March-5B Y4 rocket will launch the Mengtian laboratory module into orbit later this year, in response to the facility.

Long March-5B Y4 was the second performance of a highly efficient engine, after a 520-second clean inspection on March 10.

Ma Liya, director of the institute’s science and technology workshop, told the Global Times on Tuesday that the 50-ton-thrust engine would work in pairs as the first phase of the Long March-5 rocket sequence.

Was The Test Of The Engine For Long March-5B Y4 Successful ?

According to Ma, the success of the measurement test confirmed that the Long March-5B Y4 rocket entered the final stage of preparation before being transferred to the launch website. The series will kick off the launch of Mengtian and Mengtian laboratory modules in 2022.

The institute has stated in a statement to the Global Times that it will conduct more than 20 times engine tests in an effort to verify its reliability and put in place a package for the launch of the Xuntian space satellite module.

When Is The Space Craft Going To Be Complete ?

China is expected to complete the development of its spacecraft at the top of this year. The space station will perform a T-shaped construction with a cabin of more than 110 cubic meters, allowing for a long three-person crew and a six-seater stay. After completing a meaningful and efficient test in orbit, the space station will transfer to the operating phase.

Zhang Wei, director of the Space Utilization Development Center, Technology and Engineering Center for Space Utilization, under the auspices of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, has indicated that the Wentian module will host twelve life science experiments, as well as is considered one of the closed ecosystems created is a person is made up of small fish, bacteria and algae, the media reported on March 17.

Mengtian will manage the world’s first cold atomic clock system that includes a hydrogen clock, a rubidium clock, and a clock. “If sure-fire, cold atomic clocks can produce the foremost correct temporal arrangement and frequency in area, that mustn’t be lost one second in many lots of years,”  Zhang mentioned.

China conducts long-term and systematic planning of space exploration in 4 key areas: space health science and human analysis; the science of body microgravity; Astronomy and Earth Science, as well as a new space used for science and operations, said Gao Ming, director of the Chinese Academy of Aerospace Technology and Engineering under the Chinese Academy and general director of a Chinese man-made space program.

These scientific analytical services are designed to help more than 1,000 in-orbit analysis systems, Gao said.

What Is The Long March 5 Rocket?

Long March 5, whose second name is Changzheng 5 (CZ-5), and its nickname “Pang-Wu”, is a heavy-lift launch vehicle of China, which is developed by the China Academy of Launch Vehicle Technology (CALT). It is the first Chinese car introduced to use only non-hypergolic liquid propellants. It is the fifth family reunion of the Long March rocket.

The first CZ-5 was launched from the Wenchang Space Launch Center on November 3, 2016, and placed its payload on the first low but effective route. The second CZ-5 rocket, launched on July 2, 2017, failed due to an engine problem in the first phase.

There are currently two versions of CZ-5: CZ-5 and CZ-5B. The maximum payload capacity is approximately 25,000 kg (55,000 lb) to Earth orbit (CZ-5B) and approximately 14,000 kg (31,000 lb) in geostationary transfer orbit (CZ- 5). As of 2021, a 3-core variant, referred to as CZ-5 (DengYue), is outwardly below development; this variant are ready to launch a crew with a crew on the satellite course.

The Long March 5 is almost identical to the strength of NSSL heavyweight American delivery vehicles such as Delta IV Heavy. It is currently the most powerful member of the Long March rocket family and the third most powerful orbital launch vehicle in the world currently operating, following the Falcon Heavy and Delta IV Heavy.

After almost two and a half years, the return of the Long March 5 vehicle to flight (third launch) successfully took place on 27 December 2019 with the launch and placement of the Shijian-20 test satellite in the geostationary transmission line, thus opening a method of the successful launch of the Tianwen 1 Mars missions, the lunar Chang’e 5 sample-return mission, and a standard space station, that require skills to lift the vehicle for the launch of a heavy lift.
